It is a shame. Credit unions have been a wonderful benefit to Americans for so long. It blows my mind that anyone would want to stop them from doing what they were created to do.

I was so amazed back when I first began working with CU's at the profound difference that I experienced just during my first week at work. Getting a job at a CU was one of the best things that ever happened to me. There are countless members who could say the same about joining a credit union. Like me they probably found it by accident.

So CU's need to constantly strive to innovate and serve members wherever they may be at in life. CU's should also evaluate their own priorities to make sure they are doing what they're created to do. I think our CU is well on the right track, though I do wonder about others at times. But those are far and few in between in my personal estimation.
